Where do I go when I get to the church?
The main doors to the church are the double doors
under the carport. This is where you’ll want to enter.
You should find greeters there and a welcome center. If
you’ve come for Sunday School, the greeters and
Welcome Center staff will be able to help you find the
right class! If there is no one at the Welcome Center,
wait close by and someone should return quickly! If
you’ve come for the morning service, the sanctuary will
be right in front of you as you walk through the main
doors.
What do I do with my children?
If you have children, we have a nursery down the hall
from the sanctuary for the little ones. During the service
we have junior church for ages two through the third
grade. Again, if you’ve come for Sunday School,
someone at the Welcome Center can help you find their
classes and help you arrange a place to meet afterwards.
Does it matter what I wear?
Because there are so many ages and backgrounds
represented at WBC, dress is also very mixed. We have
men who come in jeans and men who come in suits. We
have women who come in slacks and women who come
in dresses. Wear what is comfortable for you.
What will the service be like?
Winfield has committed to reaching the whole family
through our morning services. As part of this
commitment WBC has purposed to have a blended style
service. We sing modern songs of praise as well as the
age-tested hymns of our rich heritage. The preaching and
teaching is always practical and applicable to our lives.
What if I have questions?
If you have a question or concern, please call the church.
Whether it is before your visit to Winfield or after, we
want to help you and answer any questions you have.
